Chapter 1.12

Hello everyone!
Once again it’s been quite some time since the last update. But here I am again B)

Last chapter, a lot of skilling was done, Arthur almost left us (Grim Reaper style!), we had a Winterfest celebration, Azure went into the jungle once again, and Thomas became a young adult.

Oh look, Azure is in the jungle! Again …

Azure: I’m doing important research. I do my part for society.

By going on vacation.

Azure: When was this place ever relaxing enough to be called vacation?!

Azure: …

Stranger: … and then I saw the temple! It’s majesitc and full of secrets. I didn’t dare to walk inside, but I’m sure it’s marvelous.

Azure: *sigh* It’s not. You get poisoned and grilled a lot, you’re tred and smell worse than any public restroom, …

Stranger: Uh, haha, sure.

Back home, Azure needs to take care of her little garden. It’s been around forever now and we are still so far away from a goldmine!

Azure: Look, I’ve been busy, ok.

G.O.L.D.M.I.N.E!

Azure: Maybe I should change out of my work clothes.

Would be a sensible idea.

Also, why is every pic about Azure only? (Tbh, I played these screenshots back in May… and the other half yesterday, it’s August 😀 )

And here we go again.

Azure: Did you hear that? There was this special, unique melody. Am I done in the jungle?

Yes, you completed your aspiration Jungle Explorer!

Azure: So I’ll never come back here?

Azure: Why am I not on my way back home?

In case you wonder, Azure has the other jungle aspiration now. Archaeology Scholar. Well, she’s already used to the jungle, isn’t she? 😀

Skeleton: Ma’am, you can’t do this. That’s property of someone who hired me to watch the temple.

Azure: You are? Well, you are bad at your job then.

Thommy: Well, be a better teacher then.

Mo is only 3 hours of lessons away to complete his aspiation as well 🙂

Arthur: Can you believe it’s already my birthday? I wonder what my role in this family will be!

As there’s no other screenshot of Arthur (worst spare in the history of spares, huh?), he rolled the Self-Absorbed trait. Great. Good thing he’s gone!

Polly: Where am I?

Granite Falls.

Polly: Where are the others?

At home.

Polly: Wait, all the attention is on me, and me only?!

Polly: I died and this is heaven, isn’t it?

Nope, it’s still Granite Falls.

Polly has the Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration and this will (maybe) be the first time I actually play and complete it.

That’s not part of the aspiration, but Polly couldn’t do anything.

Polly: Arthur posted a pic on Simstagram. Did he move out?

Polly: Look at the ladybugs! They’re so cute!

Are they really cute this big? The small (real) ones are adorable, but these?

Polly: Hm, what could I do?

Polly: I’m back!

Ava: You were gone?

Polly was NOT succesfull in Granite Falls. I doubt I will take her there again…

Ava: Dear followers, I hate fitness, but a voice inside my head makes me do it. No, the voice is not my motivation or conscience. It’s an evil voice.

Ava: *typing even more aggressively*

Ava has the Academic aspiration and I want her to get as many scholarships as possible.

It’s Love Day and these two just have to slow dance 🙂

Why they go outside, far, far away from the radio is beyond me.

Polly: So, when am I going back to Granite Falls?

Maybe never? I’m not sure yet. You can stay in the house because I might need you as a baby sitter.

Polly: FML…

Azure: Honey, are you ready to be the heiress and a bachelorette?

Ava: Well, I didn’t decide on this but I’ll make it work.

Azure: There will be a lot of men wooing for your love.

Ava: … and women.

Azure: Thommy, we love you. It’s nice to see you visit us. But… it would be nicer if it was occasionally instead of several times a day. Give us a chance to miss you.

I have no idea who let him in -.-

Polly: What’s going on?

Ava: It’s finally my birthday!

Azure: … and then the skeleton said, and you won’t believe that, …

Mo: Wait, my baby girl is a woman now? That can’t be. She was born only yesterday. Azure, are we old?!

Azure: Our bodies might be old, but your mind will always be at a child’s age.

Mo: Oh thank the Crea … Wait! That was mean!

Don’t you just love it when you accidentally pause the game at the right moment? 😀

Ava: World, here I come.

A little heads up on what Ava as she’s our heiress:
aspiration: Academic
traits: Good, Gloomy and the new one is Glutton

Ava: Love me some alliterations!

And a little side note about her name: This generation was named after characters of Peaky Blinders. I’m rewatching it with subtitles now (finally know what it’s all about :D) and it turns out Ava’s namesake is called Ada. With a D. Oopsie.

And yes, now that Ava is a young adult, the next chapter will be the start of the bachelorette challenge!
