Chapter 1.4

Hello again!

I have a little “warning” for you: I’ll move very soon and I have no idea how much time I’ll have to post chapters. If you don’t read from me in a longer while, do not worry. I’m not dead, just moving 😀

Last chapter Mo spent more time with a Harvestfest gnome than his kids (JK), Polly became a cute kid, Arthur became a redheaded toddler, Ava was born (final baby, unless risky woohoo crosses my plans) and Azure was tense because – and I did not solve this spoiler last time – she got a lifestyle called something like close circle. I thought she wanted more friends, but nope. She had at least 5 friends (her family) and the lifestyle only allows 3 friends. So she had two too many… Stay tense then!

Polly: Daddy, why do you always glow?

Mo: Because I’m the happiest father in the world.

Not the universe?

Mo: Well, in the universe!

It kinda bothers me how much Mo blends in with the colour of the wall…

Mo: Aw, look at her. Isn’t she cute?

Wait, why do I feel like you don’t know her name?

Mo: Of course I know it. Eva.

Ava.

Last chapter ended with Polly and Thommy building a snowpal.

Have you ever seen a three-ball-snowpale made by kids/toddlers in the game? Even my adults usually build two-balls-snowpals only.

Such a proud watcher here right now!

Mo and Azure happen to have some time off work at the same time.

Their fun and social is also red. Dark red.

What’s better than woohoo then? And yes, they do this every single day.

Risky woohoo is still turned on.

Usually the two forget about their… duties while woohooing.

Sorry, Ava. Soon you’ll be able to care for yourself. A tiny bit more.

Toddlers can be quite self-reliant, can’t they?

In the middle of the night, the notification for Ava’s birthday pops up.

let’s free her from her awful baby life!

A few hours later – morning time – it’s Thommy’s child birthday.

Don’t worry, you’ll get to see toddler Ava in a second. I was too lazy to open CAS twice a day.

See? Here she is, Ava Ramone.

I actually love the black and purple combination. Should I let the three keep their non-blue hair colours? Just let me know 🙂

So Ava’s trait is *angels start singing* Independent!

And of course Thommy gets a CAS shot as well.

I think you can see both parents in his face. He’s really cute 🙂

And if you compare him and Ava, you can see that Ava is lighter and it seems like a bit more leaning towards blue…

Thommy’s aspiration is Social Butterfly. How I hate that -.- And his first “real” trait is Adventurous. Interesting.

Mo has some spare time – a few seconds only 😛 – and plays with his youngest daughter.

Mo: Hey, they grow up so fast. I need to cherish those moments as long as I can.

Arthur: *from the distance* Excuse me?

The nanny is here again and I should feel guilty to not remember her name. But I don’t.

Polly: It’s not fair! I have to do my homework and Thommy can do nothing.

Thommy: I’m keeping myself alife here!

Also, Thommy will do his homework after he’s done eating.

Azure: What is this book for?

For learning. I almost forgot about something suuuuuper important and Mo is too busy so it’s your duty now.

Azure: I wouldn’t mind spending more time with my kids…

You’re in the same room. That’s enough quality time.

Arthur: Purpleman is better than that cat.

Ava: You cat?

Arthur: No, you’re holding the cat.

She means your pajamas.

Also, please tell me you can also see the different shades of purple from this screenshot!

Arthur: What are you doing?

Ava: Bop.

Mo: “Bob til you drop”, this song will be amazing!

That’s already a song. You should know this, Mr Ramone!

WHY? Why do all the kids in my game ALWAYS do this?

Like, the place is already dirty enough, why make it worse? (Look at the kitchen counter…)

Ava: What you doing?

Arthur: *sigh* Pooping.

Ava: Not diaper?

Arthur: No, I’m using the potty.

Ava: I want potty!

The best thing about independent toddlers is that they can use the potty on their own from the start!

Thank you!

Nanny: Someone had to do this, eventually.

You’re welcome to clean visit every day now.

Polly: I’m kind of smart so if you need help at school, just come to me, alright?

Thommy: Thank you, big sis! I’m a bit nervous about the first day…

Polly: Here, let me tell you some things you should never do at school.

One of the most unrealistic parts of this game is that the kids ALWAYS get along. At least in my game.

Polly and Thommy get on so well that they are best friends now.

Aw!

Totally not only because of the butterfly aspiration… Nope.

Another holiday arrives and a massive tree is in the middle of the tiny room.

What are you pouring everywhere!?

Mo: I’m cooking a grand meal. I’m so good at cooking.

Maybe pour that stuff ON the food?

Thommy: I only care about the presents.

Mo: Everyone come eat! The ham is ready.

What a festive meal. Maybe a change of the outfit would be nice, too?

Mo: Oh, you’re right. It’s not Love Day afer all.

Thommy: The blizzard is so bad I can barely see the snowman. Everything’s white!

Polly: Oh silly you. Of course everything is white when you almost stick your nose in the snowman!

May I remind you that it’s called snowpal? For whatever reason.

Mo must be so proud!

Mo: Oh yes, I am! It’s so hardcore!

Even more than you, softie.

A random strawbeary walks by.

Yes, I did that.

And why do sims always wear that sl**y outfit during Winterfest? At least wear some tights. It’s winter after all!

Thommy needs two adult friends and unfortunately his parents don’t count.

Thommy: Hi, I like your hat!

Vivian: Hey little boy, thank you. Is your mother Azure by any chance?

Thommy: No, her name is Mommy!

-.-

Vivian walks by and falls victim to being forced into a friendship with Thommy 😛

But Vivian seems to like the little boy 🙂

Back inside the most depressing house in whole Willow Creek (have you noticed yet that there are no windows?) it’s time to open some presents.

Mo: Why didn’t you show us decorating the tree together?

Because the room is way too small to take proper screenshots of that.

Mo: Your lack of enthusiasm disappoints me. It’s Winterfest, after all!

It’s summer here and almost 30 ° Celsius.

Little Arthur gets to open a present as well.

It looks so cute!

An unexpected visitor knocks at the door.

The few times my sims – outside this save – have encountered Mrs Crumplebottom (Crumblebottom?) were… not the best.

Agnes: May someone please let me inside?

That’s usually something vampires say.

Agnes: But I’m not a vampire.

That’s what they say as well. Also, she’s worse than a vampire…

And here you can see what Azure has been learning throughout this chapter: photography 🙂

She took a selfie with Mo at the maximum level and gained a point for the legacy score.
