Chapter 7.11

Hello and welcome back!

There was a bit less of time to wait in between chapters this time. Probably because I forgot to post a chapter last Saturday and made up on Monday. At least I think it was on Monday…

Anyway, as I have two weeks off work now (YAY) I have enough time to play and write. So expect more than one chapter in the next two weeks 🙂 I would be so thrilled if we made it to the next casting call, too! Let’s see if it’ll work out.

Are you interested in how busy I was the last few weeks? I played the game two days ago (27/03) and checked the last time I’ve played the game. It said 20th February! WHAT?! I had forgotten a few tiny details when I played two days ago but nothing too bad.

Ok, what happened last chapter? Linda 2.0 came back to life (the drone, no zombie lol), Mark was let loose on the women in the city (or just those strolling around the lot…) and we learned that the Adventurous trait could also be called Suicidal! Gosh, I’m so scared Philip might die because of that trait 😦

Mabel: I get back from work and can’t walk inside because of this?

Not work, university. And just walk past them?

Mabel: Yeah but uh… What if they suddenly woohoo?

That’s not how this works. You have three kids, you should know this.

Mabel: Yeah but you never know with today’s youth.

Cindy: Aw, thank you, Mark.

She really looks like she likes him.

Bummer she will only meet him one more time: when he breaks up with her.

Oh, now she is. It’s not like the aspiration says “Have had 8 girlfriends/boyfriends” and let’s not forget the “kiss 10 sims” part 😀

Mabel: I hope the ride here was worth it.

Hey, I’m the one who has to suffer through the loading screen and a bit of lag until all the thousands of things here have loaded properly!

Mark: Why am I here? I’d rather spend time with my girlfriend.

Mabel: She doesn’t stay the night and when she’s over the door must stay open, okay?

I repeat myself: HE IS YOUR OLDER BROTHER! Calm down!

Also, if she knew my plan… his aspiration… oh boy 😀

Mark: So, why am I here?

Eventually some fish women find their way to Mark.

Townie: Mark? I’m here for a coffee.

Let’s start with the first one tho…

Mark: Hey, I need a girfrliend. Any chance you want to be mine?

Townie: What? NO. Old creep!

Mark: I have 5.8 million Simoleons.

One mention of his money later, he smacks a kiss on her lips.

You disgust me!

Mark: Hey, that’s my aspiration! And it was you who made me come here!

I mean the golddigger here!

Townie: Oh wow, have I found a sugar daddy? Can I quit university now?

Just a little heads up, girl: You will only meet Mark one more time. And we all know what for 😉

All the women from before went upstairs and Mark isn’t used to that much of exercise (haha) so he talks to this witch.

Every sim wearing this dress immediately looks like a spellcaster, right?

I expected eyes wide open in shock. Like every time since the base game was released.

But townie girl is different. She doesn’t care. Maybe she’s a Serial Romantic, too?

At least she is thrilled to become Mark’s girlfriend! Number three 😀

After walking up the stairs Mark has to sit down. Poor guy.

JoAnna: I was using this computer! My term paper is on there!

Mark: Is your father a thief? Because your eyes are like diamonds!

JoAnna: I have a husband!

I checked and… it’s Max Saenz. Why does this name bother me? A few days ago I updated the family tree. Lily (RIP) had a husband called Max Saenz. It’s the same guy! I don’t like this.

Back home, I try to get the boys – yes, they still exist – do to something exiting.

Come on. Please?

Philip: Last time I tried to be exciting to yelled at me.

Do something exciting but nothing dangerous, okay?

Philip: It’s late. I’m going to bed now.

Why, oh why can’t sims care for themselves properly when you’re outside with another sim? Louis almost had an accident.

Charles: I’m not like this! I’m doing extra work here.

Why does it bother me that Charlie chose the medium table?

More than a month later, I start the game again 🙂

Wow, a scene I haven’t seen in ages! And that’s not because I had no time to play 😛

Barbarella is cleaning the toilet!

Barbarella: I’m neat and it’s a mess in here.

Maybe because you just broke the tub?

Barbarella: I’m sure that’s not the reason.

Charlie: Look at me! I’m as fast as a monkey!

You’re anything but fast! Your little brother has already completed his aspiration. You are still working on it! And it’s not the super annoying Social Butterfly one.

Adrian: So I found this drone and it follows me everywhere. It’ll make me famous!

Mabel: That’s not any drone. This is Linda! She belonged to my grandmother Blue.

Isn’t it nice to know that two generations later there is no improvement in technology? 😀

I know this is Kaori. She’s not a townie but a new premade 🙂

“New” as in from Snowy Escape 😀 I noticed there were some new tiny packs or something? I need to check that out…

You might know that Kaori starts as a teen. But she’s a young adult now.

You all know what this means…

Mark: Hi, I’m Mark. Are you here to find a boyfriend?

Kaori: Hey Mark! No, I’m just jogging by.

In winter, wdressed like this. I freeze just looking at her…

Mark: Why do you walk away mid-conversation?

Kaori: I want to give you a chance to check out my butt.

Mark’s expression. I love it 😀 He is tense tho Don’t mess this up!

Mark: Your butt is nice but your face is more stunning.

Kaori: Aw, you’re so charming.

See? He’s tense and I’ll kill him if he messes up his chances with Kaori!

Mark: You’re so blue! Wait, then the ghosts are blue it means they’re sad. Are you sad? Should I comfort you?

Kaori: Ugh, you’re a creep!

Then freeze, brat!

Kaori: I’m sorry I snapped at you.

Mark: You left a scar on my soul…. I’m not sure if I will ever recover from this.

Kaori: Oh no!

Will Mark mess up his chances with Kaori? Will she be his fourth girlfriend? You’ll find out in the next chapter (probably on Tuesday as I have plans for Monday 🙂 )

Also, I know that the aspiration doesn’t say “Have 8 girlfriends/boyfriends at the same time”. But… I’ve always played this aspiration like this and it’s kinda easier 😀

Have I mentioned that Mark is leve 7/8 in charisma and can “flirty introdcution” with every woman? Helps SO SO much 🙂
