G7.D10: One Step Closer

Hello everyone!

First of all: belated Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays! And a Happy New Year 🙂 I hope you all enjoyed the time and got to celebrate at least a tiny bit in these crazy times… But hey, the awful 2020 is finally over and it can’t get worse. Can it? *sweats*

We’re one step away from the finale, thus the title.

Last chapter (it’s been a while, oops!) there was the roast challenge. I only read positive feedback so I guess you didn’t mind the mean talk 😀

But let’s stop here and start the chapter.

There’s one thing that happens in every bachelor/ette part and we have skipped it so far: karaoke.

RIP my ears.

Hello there, Terence! Looking… old.

Terence: But still sexy, am I right?

Yeah, of course! But there’s a sad glimpse in his eyes, isn’t there?

And the winner of the roast is: Adrian!

Afai1261 will be surprise, just as surprised as Adrian saying all the not-nice things the chapter before :p Maybe he’s a bit of a badboy? 😉

Mabel: Let’s make her ears bleed, shall we?

Adrian: Who’s her?

MEEEEE B)

Adrian: Country roooooooads take me hooooooome to the plaaaaaace I belooooooong.

The only country song I know.

Mabel: Splendid! Your voice will kill her ears!

Oh wait, I also know a Credence Clearwater Revival (or whatever they’re called) song. Of course I can’t remember the title now, maybe because I’m listening to Queen right now. What a surprise. Not.

(When I was a little baby my mama would rock me in the cradle. The first line of that song.)

Mabel: That was so much fun!

Adrian: I agree. We’re not the best singers but karaoke is only about having fun. And we had that for sure.

And here I am, listening to songs on shuffle. And what song is playing? Save me! Conincidence? I think not.

Adrian: Singing is actually one of my favorite things to pass time.

Mabel: One of the many things? What else do you like to do?

Adrian: I watch and analyse movies. It helps to improve my own acting skill.

Mabel: That sounds a bit like work, doesn’t it?

Adrian: Haha, it’s never work when it’s your passion. But I also like dancing and I play the guitar, just like my father.

Mabel: We have a lot of instruments at home! If you win you can try out all the different instruments there!

*cough* Uh… I built a new house… And the artsy room (music and painting… and the microphone) is a bit smaller now. A lot actually. But I like how it turned out. I used the new platform thingy!

You’ll see the new house in the first legacy chapter 🙂

Adrian: Is it just me or does this sound like you already see me living with you?

Mabel: Maybe… who knows.

She has to do this with all contestants. “Can I see myself living with this man until I die? And see him float around and break stuff as a ghost?” No, I won’t kill the next spouse. Or will I?

The date is over and there’s a bunch of people gathering around someone.

That someone is Brian May giving a private concert!

Rose: A private concert for me only.

No, you’re just blocking the view for everyone else. Also, social distancing, duh!

Back at the mansion, Mabel (of course!) spends some time with Bryon and Tom.

Bryon: So you had a nice time? That’s… great. I’m not jealous, not at all… nope…

Tom: A real gentleman isn’t jealous. He only wants his loved one to have a great time. And he focuses on the great times he’s had with her before.

Mabel looks like she thinks “PATHETIC!” 😀

And then it’s time for the rose ceremony again. We hate this, don’t we? So sad…

Bryon: She’ll kick you out tonight!

Tom: Oh gosh, calm down. It’ll be your butt that’ll get kicked tonight.

Adrian doesn’t need to trash-talk his opponents. He pulls another trick: open shirt 😀

And it works!!

Mabel: Adrian, our date was marvelous, or should I say, mabelous?

Bryon: She didn’t say this, did she?

Yes, she did.

Mabel: So Adrian, do you take this rose and spend a dream date with me?

Adrian: How could I say no to you? Of course, thank you a lot!

Bryon: She’ll kick me out…

Tom: No, it’ll be me…

Aw, guys. Don’t look so sad! It hurts looking at you 😦

I should have put paper bags on their heads…

Mabel: Tom, this rose is for you. Do you want to spend some time with me on a dream date?

Tom: Yes, of course! Thank you!

Bryon: So you have to be an actor to get a rose nowadays?

I noticed this right now and it’s a conincidence. A funny one imo ^^

Mabel: Bryon, I really like you but…

Bryon: Just as a friend. The friendzone… Again.

Just look at his sad face. Heartbreaking!

I’m so sorry, Skeilah, that Bryon has to leave us this close to the end. He made it far this time, maybe he’ll win in a third attempt?
