Chapter 6.6

Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of this weird family 🙂

Last time our beloved grumpy Roger passed away of old age, Mark grew up to a toddler (more on him in a second!), Lily moved out and started stalking the family one second later, Kody was fired so he could spend some more time with his elder wife but as soon as she died he married a younger woman, Loki became an elder, and finally: Perla and Rose tried for a new nooboo three times and were unlucky…

About Mark: He grew up with the red spellcaster eyes but his eyes changed to Perla’s purple eyes. I liked both and asked you which color to go for. Pammiechick – creator of Perla – said the red eyes were from Perla’s father and that’s such a cool thing that Mark will get the red eyes as soon as I can change them (probably as a teen). Also, everyone who stated an opinion said red eyes anyway ^^

Super long intro, now to the new chapter.

Rose: Ah, Dad’s goldmine…

Nostalgic, huh? It’s actually your grandfather’s garden. He made this goldmine become a goldmine. Roger just harvested it.

Perla’s curse of awkward hugging got annoying so I made her drink a curse solver potion.

You’re glowing today, Perla.

Perla: I always glow.

Blue really wants to complete the Lady of the Knits aspiration but … uh…

Perla: Give the old lady some rest. She just lost her husband.

Perla is right. I should give up on the aspiration and let Blue be Blue for her final few days.

Rose on the other side has to work hard on her skills.

Rose: When will this be over?

When you complete the aspiration. And then you’ll try your mother’s aspiration.

Rose: I wish I was Freya.

Agree.

Rose working hard doesn’t mean Mark doesn’t get the motherly attention he needs.

He is read to sleep every night, like Perla does here.

Perla: This book is not suitable for toddlers.

Seems like it’s one of the weird books Barbarella and Damian always read to their 10 kids… Better burn it! I can’t deal with another Amy.

Freya: Are these the feathers you need?

Not all of them but one feather is one of the two we still needed for the collection. One left now.

Perla: Wait, has one of the cats died?

Nope, that’s Sunshine. She has been dead for some time.

Sunshine: I’m also Rose’s great-grandmother.

Perla: Is this a dream?

Working on that second nooboo (or more) again.

Freya, get off! That’s cringey and creepy…

Freya: I’m a talisman.

I think this was the third negative pregnancy test in a row!

Something to cheer you up: Sunshine playing with the ball Loki has brought home.

I bet he stole it from a puppy.

And finally good news: BABY/BABIES!

Perla: I almost gave up!

Yeah, me, too. But this is the last pregnancy for this generation. I wanted three but well… the game disagrees.

Unless there are twins or triplets in this flat stomach.

Perla: Oh no…

Perla: He grows up so fast.

Mark? He’s not at where you’re looking at.

Freya: Where’s my treat for the feather?

Freya: No treat, no Freya.

Yeah, whatever… I don’t care anymore.

Without Kody, the house got a bit dirty.

But that’s good because Perla needs to do some magic to raise her rank.

So no townie will kick her butt ever again.

I swear, the family takes perfect care of this little boo.

He just got a bit too excited and tired…

Perla – finally happy again because expecting – worked on the “paint all emotional paintings” point.

Perla: So sad… I can’t even paint something nice.

Why is she sad? Freya ran away.

So far she painted: flirty and sad.

Still needed: confident, playful and that diagram thing. Maths, no weird demonic ritual.

Tho maths is worse imo.

Blue is sad, too. But Loki tries to cheer her up.

Blue: A gift? Is Freya in there?

Loki: This box is small. Do you really want Freya to be in there? She wouldn’t… look like you know her…

It was hard work to get this.

Perla: And a lot of fun.

And tears.

Lily seriously takes the family stalking to a new level!

Lily: I’m here to check if you put the NAPs in action.

Blue gave up on her aspiration but she kept on knitting.

Blue: See the whirls? I wish they were blue.

I wish they weren’t there in the first place.

Not sick anymore but now her smile has disappeared.

Seeing all the stinky plates I can understand her tho.

And it was this moment she got the refined plate perk again -.-

Look who’s back!

And cleaning up.

It took him literally only 2 nights to come back.

He does stuff he’s never done in his whole life.

Like clean or doing situps.

I think he had the active trait tho.

And the mean trait.

How dare you?! Mark loves his pink fairy castle!

Roger: He’s a boy!

And?

Mark: Grampa! It’s nice to see you again but… the doll house, really?

Roger: You’ll thank me later.

No, he won’t.

And the confident painting is done, too!

Only two more to go.

Roger: Who’s my number one?

Mark: I am!

The cracking sound you just heard wasn’t Blue’s old bones… It was my heart.

Melina – one of my favorite sims – died 😦

It took me some time but I eventually noticed that Mark has the Weak Bloodline trait!
